I am pleased to invite you to our third and final HUPE Osijek branch meeting in this school year, which will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 9.00 am at the Faculty of Education in Osijek (Fakultet za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti, Ulica cara Hadrijana 10, Osijek) in Room 21.

As you can see, we have invited our colleagues from Zagreb, well-known for their creativity and practical approach to teaching. They will deliver their successful workshops, filled with hands-on activities and ideas, previously presented at international conferences. The workshop summaries can be found below.

The call for volunteers for the position of HUPE Osijek branch president is still open, so if you are interested in taking on this role, please apply by May 15, 2025 the latest, by sending your name and surname, school, phone number, short biography, motivational paragraph, and a photo.

I strongly encourage you all to attend the upcoming meeting, not just because of the interesting and practical workshops, but also to meet all the candidates and take part in the branch president elections, as they are important for the future of our steadily growing branch.

HUPE Osijek branch president elections

HUPE is looking for candidates for the position of Osijek branch president. We are looking for people who are organized, responsible, and willing to volunteer and invest some of their time in HUPE and its development.

The branch president is elected for a term of two years and officially takes over the management of the branch from September 1, 2025. The president is primarily responsible for the regular 'maintenance' of the membership, organizing branch meetings during the school year, and exchanging information related to the work of the Association. Also, he or she participates in the organization of the HUPE conference together with the Board members and other branch presidents.
